He and the firm have practiced extensively in three areas: international law, with a focus on East Africa and Southern Africa; litigation and negotiation with the United States Government; and major civil litigation and real estate transactions in the District of Columbia. In the international arena, Mr. Musolino has traveled extensively in Africa and in Europe. He currently represents commercial interests in trade, mining, transportation and housing projects in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Namibia and South Africa. He served as lead American counsel for a client who successfully recovered substantial sums on behalf of an agency of an East African Government. He represents the Herero Tribe in Namibia in its efforts to obtain redress for historical crimes against humanity, and he represents over 1000 Kenyan citizens for losses suffered as a result of the Nairobi embassy bombing. He was a speaker before the District of Columbia Judicial Conference on the subject of reparations claims in the United States. Mr. Musolino also represents clients based in London and Montreal, and has recently undertaken representation of clients with interests in Iraqi reconstruction and debt repayment. Mr. Musolino has litigated and arbitrated claims under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, the International Organizations Immunities Act, the Alien Tort Claims Act, the American Arbitration Act, the Federal Tort Claims Act, and the International Convention on Civil and Political Rights. In the federal and national area, Mr. Musolino has been lead counsel in claims against various agencies of the US Government, including mass tort, contract, and procurement claims. Mr. Musolino has been lead counsel in hundreds of business tort and real estate disputes, ranging from securities violations to real property contests. The firm has been approved as counsel for a 40,000 member class action, and regularly gives court-sponsored and bar-sponsored lectures on areas of interest. He is admitted to practice before the following courts: the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit; the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; the United States Court of Federal Claims; the United States District Court for the District of Columbia; and, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
